We have Shipt on Board thy Sloop Thirteen Casks of the Best kind of Spermacesta [?} drippings. Containing 681 Galls. Mark.t [?] and in the Margin to thy Care, Wishing thou to sell the same to the best advantage for us & pay Rob't Meadder as [agt] his Order on thee One Hundred Dollars of the Ballance of the Neat Proceeds thou will bring us in Cash. We want thou should bring us two Anchors from them Approved Work that we talk't together about One Weighing 11:0:0 the other 2:2:0 upon as good terms as may be, & we will Support thy doings with more Property for the paymentthereof. Not doubting thy Exertions for our interest as far as the Case may require Silvs. & Obed Macy
Nantucket 2m 1794 Friend Sigourney We wrote of Capt Coffin but not haveing Contents of Candles left it blank we now have to inform that we Shipt. by Capt.Allex.r Gardner Fourty Boxes Candles Containing 1288 1/4 to thy Address requesting thou will dispose of them to the best Advantage for us not doubting thy Exertion as far as the case may require Thy Friend -- Silvs. & Obed Macy

Nantucket 12th 3mo 1794 Respectd Friend Elijha Sigourney This may inform that we received thy favour of 19th. 2mo & rest [?] satisfied with thy doings & further may inform that 1/4 of neat proceeds of Brig Folly [?] when becomes due belongs to Elisha Macy as being guardian to B Macy (Deceased) child which thou & he may Acct. [ACCOUNT] accordingly, if Elijha Macy should call on thee for money please do let him have to the ammounts [AMOUNTS] of his call & place the same to us, & if his call should be larger than money due us in they hands & thou supplies him let our remaining interest be acted with so as to make the reasonable satisfactions. Nantucket 6 mo 6th 1796 Esteemed friend Elisha Sigourney We Remain thine your Capt. G 27th 5 of this thus have respecting the certificate if we may say thou will have an addition of silent friend on the [???] we may before this in calculation for as much cordage as our concern would call for this season _ there is several appears that would gladly have the cargo of small parsel [PARCEL] at payment we think of the easy taking care of it [???] that it will not stick on hand at the [???] let the project be as it may for business our S Mary being a brother passenger with Andrew Sigourney sent a small note given [???] of the candles Capt. Coffin being fearful of our letter not going forward as he went away in hast of [???] in his death but that letter going forward we have no further remarks to make than what that offer with due respect we remain thy [???] friend. Nan. 7 mo 1st 1794 Esteemed Friend Wm. Russell In consequence of the talk with Silv. had with thee we have Ship to thy Care 180 [???] of Verdegrease [VERDIGRIS] by Silas Parker I desire thou will grind it put it in preparation to paint the Boat for Sheathing, should be glad thou would make all possible dispatch as we are fearful that part of our business will be behind; for the Ship's pastor[?] Calculated for two are Expected Next week, shoud be glad when done thou would send it by the first opportunity. Nantucket 7 mo. 29th 1793 Esteemed Friend Elisha Sigourney We received thine of 2mo 7th the size of the Anchor & c. is to our wishes, as to the [???] we rest satisfied (altho high) believing thou was governed by our Interest equal as thy We have given Thomas Turner an order on thee for two hundred pound which we desire thee to honor a place the same to our Acct. as to more money that is due we shall order hereafter if any candles sold that we are not notice of should be glad to be informed in order that we may govern our Business accordingly.
