Lemon Filling.

1 cup sugar.
3 level tblsp. flour.
Grated rind of 1 lemon.
1/4 cup lemon juice.
1/8 " water.
1 egg.
1 tsp butter.
Slightly beat the egg and mix in
lemon juice and rind. Mix flour and
sugar and add. Melt butter in a sauce
pan and add mixture. Stir constantly
until boiling point is reached. Then
remove. Cool before spreading.
