June 10 - 19, 1864

10th Thursday or Friday morning my
meat etc. stolen. Plowing & weeding
corn in thats checked

12th Planted our corn in fresh ground
where it has been so wet. Plowing
& weeding corn, bushed oats

14 & 15 - Many sick & wounded soldiers
came in here to something to eat
I went to see Mr. Hunt's children
going to school to Mrs.
[Nellie?] Haley & Capt. Haley &
myself refers the price for board to
Mr. N.C. Miller and M. Pannillo Wm L
or Doct John Robertson - clear pretty
day 15th, Sent for Fannie & Edd today
15. sent Capt. Fitzgerald by Henry $10.
paid me too much for Fannie 1863
he pd. 10$ too much which I handed
back at his house & still there as $10.

19 Sent Henry again after Fannie &
Ed, about a week ago some one
broke in my smoke house & took out
about 20 hams, of bacon done by
Mr. [name] Anderson & Lewis & some one
broke the lock at Mr. Hunt's place
& stole all the bacon they had.
