Golden Cake (or nut loaf.)

2 1/2 cup flour.
1/3 cup butter.
1 " sugar.
3/4 " sweet milk.
2 tsp baking powder.
Yolks of 4 eggs.
2 whole eggs.
1 teaspoon lemon.
Mix by usual method. Bake in loaf or
layers.
May be converted into an excellent
nut loaf by using 1 tsp vanila instead
of lemon and adding 3/4 cups nuts
chopped coarse.
