1874 March 19 Hung up & Smoke the last Hog we Killed this day 5 ps march took it down

April 8th 1874 5 ps Expense Carrying Tobacco to Lynchg Meat 0.62 Meal & Flour Toll $1. Hauling to 0.38 Lynchg

1874 June 3rd Washed Our Bacon suned it 2 days & Packed it away in Box & Hhd in House Smoke

4th Drawing Tobacco Plants & Planting out branch & slip in fresh ground by Corn Still Cloudy & like for Rain Warm 25 Midling Ham & shoulder

1874 May or June Give Jere H Graves 1 Ham Bacon July 1st Give S H Whitehead 1 Ham Bacon

1874 Novr 2 Killed 1 little Beef to day red no horns Weighing 245 Kept one half of it myself Sold Henry Templeton 1 hind quart 61 lbs & Ed Dews 1 fore quart my hind quarter weighed 61 lbs fore quarter 60 lbs 121 lbs

1874 July 1st Martin Smith has been Sick one Whole Week & has been Hunting money to pay his Taxes packing his Tobacco 4 or 5 days more lately lost 7 or 8 days

Feby 13 Took down the above meat --smoked 7 Hams 7 Shoulders 14 ps 7 midlings 3 Joles all but Joles put up stairs 10 ps " Hung up 6 Hogs Killed 1st Janry 1874 24 ps " 12 Midlings 12 Shoulders 12 Hams 36 ps 6 Joles took down 6 ps 42 ps

1873 Feby 26 Hog Killed this day weighing about 130 lbs salted up 2 midling 2 Hams 2 Shoulders 1 Joles 7 ps in salt

1874 Mar 1 Tobacco striped by Ed Dews in 1874 E D old prize Barn 38 Second rate 20 Geo 84 Good --- 25 Lugs 34 Lugs 30 Entered on Book 10
