To any Sheriff of the State of Alabama.

An indictment having been found at the March Term, 1854
of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, against Elbert Weldon
for the offence of Trading with a slave

you are there fore commanded forthwith, to arrest the said defendant amd commit him to Jail, un-
less he give bail to answer such indictment; and that you return this writ according to law.
