Tuesday 18 May 1915
Another very cool morning rained in the
night. V finished fence over there and
made 3 garden beds for onions which
Edith and Emma set to onions. I
work on rug. Roy R here in evening.
Sylve and her family came home.
She brought one of the McDermots kids
with her Marion or Mary Anne. Ed McDermot
gone working for Byron Irvine.
Churned gave Kehoe some krout and
sent Rachel milk and krout by Kehoe.

Wednesday 19 May 1915
A very good day cool enough. V made
onion beds, 3 of them. E & E planted the
onions which now makes six. Edith brought
brush from the river to cover the first 3 beds.
The hens had began scratching them out. Rachel
came over to dinner & borrowed the garden
rake. Emma gathered dandelion greens for
dinner. I received a letter from Grace & Robert.
V went after dark last night for R's eggs.
