June 25, 1864 - July 1, 1864

1864 June 25th Cutting wheat at
Plantation sent Claiborne to stack &
[unclear] Henry to tie up yesterday prized
tobacco & finished left Morefields c/[?]
part there laying corn there &
weeding tobacco by over [unclear]
laying by corn & choping here
[H--ed?] tote corn & choped it over
yesterday _ finished weeking tobacco here
Clear day & hot weather

26th. Clear & hot. Sunday cut rye here yesterday

27. I went to CH got my papers for
master saw [unclear] Lovelace etc etc
Plowing & working corn & Garden to day

28 & 29. Cuttig wheat at Plantation
Claiborne & Henry there 3 days. Something
like rain this morning. Sallie a week
at plantation has a [F?] did not quite
get done this 29th June at Aspen Grove
cutting little [unclear] wheat here 21 stack yesterday

30. Finished cutting wehat at plantation
cut little at home. Plowing & weeding
corn or rather hilling

July 1st Plowing & choping corn
started Henry to CH with Gov. tobacco
& to get salt for myself Est. children
& Mrs. Hagood & Nanny Blanks
