PhilbeRd Greenweal in a plea of [?]
on the east and [?] forth [?] where upon the
said Phillbred by R.B Taney his Attorney com-
plains that whereas the said Phillberd now is
a good true [?] and faithful citizens of
this state, and as such good true honest and
faithful citizens of this State, from the time
of his natively [?] heath always behaved
had and governed himself and hath
always seen esteemed and [?] amongst
all his [?] and other good and worthy
citizens of this State to whom he was known to
be a man of good make [?] [?] reputation
and hath always neither to [?] free, untouched
was spottted and wholly unexpected of and from
all and all manner of felonies [?], [?]
deceit falsehood, [?] [?] on any other
[?] hurtful [?] by unease whereof the
said Philberd before the speaking and publishing
of the [?] false [?] [?] [?] [?]
and malicous [?] wods hereafter mentioned
had desend abtained and aquired to himself
the [?] good opinion and [?] of all
persons any way acquinated to with him, and of
decieved [?] good and worthy citizens of this State
yet the said Joseph well [?] the premises
