Josie and Ben went to Mr Dave Layne and his son [ink smear] Edna and Franklin are 9 oclock | Thursday, June 6, 1918A good day most of the day had a little rain this evening. Ben and Paul still working tobacco. Josie ironed. I got dinner. I planted some cucumber and pumpkin seed. Josie and Ben went to Strait Stone this evening and got some things. Among them were 4 tin buckets. Mr Dave Layne and his son [ink smear] Walter and got a cow [smear] and calf. Edna and Franklin are sick. If anyone wonders why this page is so blotted I went to sleep. |
