The rent to which it is liable is at the rate of 2 1/2 per cent- per [annum]- and so in proportion as I do not know the weight of the anchor and chain- I have sent to Mr Stephenson the papers he gave me- therefore in reference to him- he will be able to inform you of the full amount of Charges including salvage- As I have requested him to ascertain from Wallis the man who picked up the anchor and chain- the amount under that [lead]

In reply to your letter of 28th Oct I beg to aquaint you that messers Walter Bramble have paid me £1,,8,,8 in respect of the charges above named and request that their Bond may be returned I will therefore thank you to send me the bond that I may deliver it up accordingly

I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 2nd instant conveying a P. O. Order for £1,, 8,,8 in respect of Receiver of Wrecks Charges for the Vessel above named, your Bond is in London, I have written for it. As soon as I receive it I will return it to you.-" Regis Boats" whenever it is in my power so to do, I always reply by return of post to all letters
