I beg to acquaint you that £9:9:0 have been deposited with me by the Dutch Consul for Services rendered by Officers of the Coast Guard at Sandlemere which sum the controller General of the Coast Guard has directed to be divided according to a scale printed out by him. - I will therefore thank you to inform me whether it will be necessary for me to shew such sums in my account current,- charging and discharging myself therewith as per forms W [?] 7 and 8,- and also in cases where parties give sums of money to Coast Guard Officers into their own hands which they report to their Inspecting Commanders for the directions of the Controller General,- whether it is necessary that such sums should also be reported to the Wreck Receiver to pass through his accounts
