D Sir. Memo 29 April/56
I went down to Board Trade saw Mr Farrer
about Deputy wrecker at Bridlington & Hornsea
I named Mr Stephenson being son of the late
Receiver as a proper person. He said no
such would be contrary to both spirit and
Letter of the Act and added I could name
no one but some one in your department
I therefore think it would be better to name
Lt Shacklock as well as yourself for
Bridlington and Mr Stewart for Hornsea
causing the Cont Genl with whom Mr Farrer
said he would confer on the subject to
settle the matter on the subject of the Fees
these he said would have to be accounted
for leaving the Bd of Customs and C G E G
to determine what share we should have | Page 30hereon in writing and return this paper
