Wednesday, May 24, 1922A good day. The men folk[s?] worked on tobacco land all day Mrs. [Car-?] and Ela spent the day with Josie. Mr. Sam Hubbard come for Ella. Miss Anna and little [Louise?] Hubbard come with him. Miss Anna brought Josie some light bread. Mollie Reynolds come late this evening we had the cabbag that Mrs. Kent brought and lettice and ham for dinner. I got a letter from Carrie today.
