Josigas or Josiah Franklin marrried young in England. He came with his wife and their children to New England. Settled in Boston after which by his first [wife???] he had four more children and ten by his second wife Abaih Folger in all 17 children. Franklin avows that he remembers to have seen shorter seated at his father's at one time all of whom arrived to the year of maturity and were married. I was said B.F. The last of this son and the youngest child expecting two daughters , his mother he observes is as the daughter of Peter Folger one of this first Colonists of New England of whom Cotton Mathers makes [mother???] honourable mention in his Ecclesiastical [???] of this Province as a [???] a learned English man if [???] his [???] i have been told [???] [???} written a variety of little pieces but [???] a [???] to be only one in print which I met with many years ago. It is as published in the year 1645 if is in a [???] verse arguably to the last of the times of the country. The poem appeared to be written with a
