Cornstarch Cakes

¼ cup shortening
½ cup sugar
½ cup flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
2 eggs
flavoring
Cream butter &
sugar, add yolks
of eggs & flavoring
sift flour b.p. &
cornstarch 4 times
then add by spoonfuls
alternately with
well beaten whites
of eggs. Use muffin
pans.

{Bake 15 to 20 minutes}
