45 Trip Home
I came home from Ft. Bragg by bus,
arriving at my home a little after
dark on October 1, 1945
46 Arrival Home
I came home to wonderful parents
and to the best home cooking since
being away from home. The farm
grown fresh black-eyed peas were
so good! It was wonderful to be
home with family!
