Mr George A Smith Waltham

Dear Sir,

The expense to spread one coat of black paint on your fence in lot #914 will be $7.50; two coats $12.00

I would advise you to remove the fence. it will pay for cutting over 4 corner posts cutting number^914 on front right corner one, filling and sodding over intermediate post holes and cleaning all stone in the lot. June 9th I wrote you in regard to this same affair, probably the letter was miscarried.

Yours Very truly - J.W. Lovering Supt pr Brown

Subject: Resale of Lot

2850

J. W. Lovering, Esq.

Your letter is just rec'd.

About one year since, we corresponded with the Secretary, Mr. Reed, about selling the lot, & he informed us, that there had just been a lot sold on Indian Ridge Path, at the rate of two and one half dollars per square foot. Our lot is a choice one from its good (and elevated location, and the heirs consider that it should command a price equal to other lots in vicinity.
