Geo. Wm Bond Esq
Dear Sir: -
Please notify the parties in interest, for me, that the Corporation will contract to guarantee the perpetual care of lots numbered 358 & 359 in the Cemetery, belonging to Wm W. Stone Esq + heir of H.B. Stone on payment of seven hundred dollars. - ($700.)
I could not find the address of Mr Parker, whose name you gave me, or I should have sent earlier notice. Learning from you that he is a neighbor of yours, be so kind as to inform him of the result of the Committee's consideration of the matter.
Very truly yours
A.J. Coolidge Sec.y

Dear Sir: -
Please to send to the lot of Bundy & Rolfe on Halesia Path, and sketch the front on a sufficient scale to represent the length of the different pieces, and their form, and place letters and numbers upon them as they exist. Mark the distances of each piece, show where the joints occur, and represent the letters & numbers on the respective pieces.
We shall then have a tangible basis for correction.
Very Respy yours

Dear Sir:
Yours of Feby 1st in reply to my request that you will pay the bill of the Corporation against you for $187.75 is before me. I have taken opportunity to make further inquiries touching the points stated by you, and am satisfied that the bill is due from you. Your early response to my request that you will pay the same, by making such payment, will save you and me further trouble and expense. -
Respectfully yours
A.J. Coolidge, Sec.y & Atty.

Since the year 1858, I find no report of this fund. -
I cannot account for the slight variations in the fund from 1855 to 1858, unless the Treasr was in the habit of crediting income, & then receiving debiting the fund with bills for cleaning marble. Whether this has been the practice I am not aware; if so, the charge would seem to have been about equal to the income. -
Very Respy yours

Dear Sir,
The Counsel of Amos L. Wood against whom we have a bill for 157.12 for grading lot Octo. 1864, has called upon me this p.m., & says if we can show that W. ordered the work, he will not resist the claim.
Will you please look at the book, and recall what you can. Either by conversation with Mr. Barker or anyone else that has any knowledge of it, & write me the result.
I had some conversation with you here the other day of the matter; and ask you to look the matter over because you are where your books & letters are, & will more readily recall facts there. -
Please write what you are able to prove either from documentary or oral evidence
Respectfully yours

Dear Sir,
You must have forgotten your promise made to me a fortnight ago this day, as I met you on the passage out of Pemberton Square -- to wit: that you would inform me within one week, whether A.L. Wood would accept of the proposition made to pay the face of his bill without interest.
Please inform him that this is the last proposition that I shall make, & the last time I shall inquire about it.
Respectfully yours

Dear Sir,
Enclosed is the receipted bill of $157.12 for work on your lot in 1864. --
I regret that after nearly four years of patience with you and a remission of $35.35 interest on the bill, and an actual loss to the Corporation on a just bill, you should still allow yourself to characterize the charge as a "swindle". I trust that you will live long enough to find ample satisfaction in the lot, and to be convinced that your judgment was unduly severe.
Very Respy,
Your Obt Servt
