Dear Sir
It has been decided to grade the Lots around Halcyon Lake as Mr Bartletts is graded, & to put up no curbstones, steps, or fences.
If you prefer therefore to take another lot, I will exchange it for one of the same value elsewhere
Respectfuly J.W. Lovering Supt
Dear Sir:
The tree in the rear shall be removed; but the Trustee's would regret very much to take away the trees in the corners of the Lot. Those in the middle of the Lot they would not object to having removed as much.
I should desire very much that you would withdraw your request that the corner trees be cut.
Very Respt'y James W Lovering F.C.C.

Dear Sir,
The Supt has reported upon the lot of the late Otis Fairbanks. He says there is an oak tree that should be removed and lot wants new grading & sodding.
It will cost $55; to put it in perfect order - When that is done it will be worth $350; for perpetual care. -
Very Respy yours
A. J. Coolidge Sec.y
Messrs G.A. Chester Jr., Chester + Chas. H. Guild
Gentlemen,
I owe an apology for not earlier giving you the reply of the Trustees to the question - For what sum will the Corporation guarantee the perpetual repair of lots nos. 2397-2400, owned respectively by you. - The report was mislaid -
I am directed to inform you that they will contract for such perpetual repair for twelve hundred dollars ($1200), after said lots shall have been put in proper condition. "The steps require new leading, fence wants painting & lot requires regrading and resodding."
Respy your Obt Servt

Dear Sir:
We have on file an order from yourself for the removal of the tree referred to in your note on the back of the Bill. The tree was of considerable size and in order to remove it without danger to structures in the adjoining lots we were obliged to send competent and careful men to digup & remove the tree. These laborers have to be paid and you were charged no more than the regular rates for work of this kind
Trusting that this will explain matters in a satisfactory manner. I remain
Very Respectfully
per Childs
