At the meeting of the Trustees of Mount Auburn held this day you were chosen for the twenty third time to preside over the deliberations of the Board & the Corporation.

You were also chosen Chairman of the Committee on Grounds.

At the meeting of the Trustees of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, held this day, you were rechosen Treasurer for the ensuing year.

It was further

"Voted that the salary of the Treasurer for the present year be one thousand dollars, in full of all services."

a base, in duplicate, and proposed the following vote which was adopted: _

Lease for 10 yrs. to A.McDonald. approved _ [Lease Expires ]

Voted. "That the Indenture of lease between this Corporation and Alexander McDonald for the term of ten years, for the purpose of manufacturing, exhibiting and selling statuary, monumental and other marble or stone work, for Cemetery purposes, which has been submitted by the Committee to whom the subject was specially referred, be and is hereby approved and confirmed, and that the same be executed on the part of the Corporation by the Treasurer and Secretary in the usual manner."

Petition for warming of Chapel.

A memorial of Wm G. Babcock praying that the Chapel may be warmed for funerals was presented. Voted that the same be referred to the Committee on Grounds. _
