Dear Sir,
As the Committee on Lots wish to pay you a visit, and the following lots, which are destitute of numbers, gave them some trouble on their last visit, it seems to me that it will be well for you forthwith to have the numbers cut on the stone post, or wherever you can to best advantage. Probably most of them will pay the bill, the remainder the Corporation must pay:

Fountains &c. Conditional appropriation made absolute _
their vote of have appropriated a sum not exceeding $1500. ~ towards the expense of constructing fountains in Mount Auburn: _
Voted that the proviso annexed to the order of this Board passed be rescinded.
Chapel _ repairs of
+ Voted that Dr Bigelow be a committee to cause the walls of the chapel to be cleansed from marks of lime wash, and the joints to be pointed up as far as necessary, also to repair the plastering inside where it is defaced.
Lot 439 contract for Perpetual repair of ratified _
Mr Curtis of the committee on Lots, reported that the committee had made a contract for the perpetual repair of the lot of Charles B Shaw, numbered 439, for the sum of three hundred dollars.
Voted that said contract be hereby confirmed.
Flowering Shrubs _ appropriation for _
Mr Rand reported for the committee on introduction of flowering shrubs, that, on account of having the quantity ordered by the committee under the appropriation of , transported by steamer, the cost had somewhat exceeded the amount of the appropriation, which the committee had authorized the Treasurer to defray.
