Dear Sir,

We are making a new catalogue of the Proprietors and Lots in the Cemetery, and wish to keep a knowledge of the place of residence of each.

Henry J. Oliver who was proprietor of lot 67 died in 1849, and his widow Sarah H. was appointed to represent the the lot. From the papers, I infer that you may be a son. If so, please inform me of Mrs Oliver's present residence & oblige.

We are making up a new catalogue of the Lots & Proprietors. Abel Adams, the proprietor of lot no. 49 disappears from the Boston ^Directory after 1855 & was formerly of your firm.

Treasr quarterly Reports for & . _

The Treasurer presented his quarterly statements for and ., the same having been approved by the Finance Committee and said reports were accepted and ordered to be placed on file.

Lot 501 _ Perpetl Repair _

The Committee on Lots reported that they had contracted with Mrs Ebenezer Smith for the perpetual repair of Lot No 501. for four hundred and fifty dollars. and it was

Voted. that said contract be ratified.

Representation of Lots

Upon the petitions of the several parties in interest, representatives were designated for lots as follows: _

Trustees. . G. W. Bryant & Co. appln for Genl Permit for work

The Secretary submitted to the Board an application in writing by G. W. Bryant & Co. of North Bridgewater for a general permit to do work in the Cemetery. After consideration, it was

Voted, – that said application be referred to the President to consider and report thereon.

Contracts for Perp. Rep. with Guaranty, of Lots 49 & 1689 Concurred in.

The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guaranty the perpetual repair of Lot No 49 on Moss Path belonging to the late Abel Adams of West Roxbury, deceased, for Four hundred dollars; and of Lot No 1689 on Columbine Path belonging to the heirs of the late Calvin C. Sampson of Charlestown, deceased, for Eight hundred dollars; it was

Voted, – that the above mentioned contracts be severally concurred in, on the part of this Board.

Upon the petitions of the parties in interest representatives were designated for Lots as follows; –

507. Henry Barlett of Boston, Nephew of Thomas G. Atkins, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Five hundred and seven

1564. William Howell Reed of Boston, Son of David Reed, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Fifteen hundred and sixty=four.

2421. Mrs. Frances M. Clark of Boston, Widow of Metcalf B. Clark, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twenty=four hundred & twenty=one.
