Dear Sir,
I regret that there has been an accidental delay in giving a prompt reply to your request to know for what sum the Trustees of this Corporation would guarantee the perpetual good repair of Lots no.s 1250, 1315 and 1333 in the Cemetery.
The question having been considered and reported upon, I am directed to inform you that the Corporation ^will enter upon such a contract, upon payment of one thousand dollars. -- ($1000).

My dear Sir,
I enclose a draft of the instrument which seems to me proper for the purpose required -- viz to complete the contract for the perpetual repair of lot nos. 1250, 1315 & 1333 in the Cemetery.
As you have failed to find me at the office, it will be no more than fair that I wait upon you, and I will endeavor to call at your office in the Law School, perhaps tomorrow before coming to town.

I met you some weeks since, and you suggested that you were intending to come in the next week & finish the conveyance of the Spring lot &c.
I must request you once more not to delay this matter longer.

Hon. Joel Parker,
Dear Sir,
I return the instrument which was made to express the terms of contract for the perpetual repair of lots 1250, 1315 & 1333 in this Cemetery, duly executed & recorded.
My charge in connection therewith is $5.- which, by the bylaws of this Corporation, is paid by the party for whose benefit the contract is made.
I enclose also one of our printed blanks for the designation of a person to repre-- sent lot No. 1250, under the Charter. The regu-- lations, you find at the foot of the blank. I am unable from my own knowledge to fill up the names of the children in order - which should be as they stood at the death of the testator, noting any who have died since.
