I return the contract for perpetual repair of lot 794 at last, duly executed. I do not wonder that you thought there was unnecessary delay: but so it has happened. At first, there was a question about repairs upon the lot -- That having been settled, one of the Com^ee was absent, another had death in his family, & so I return it as soon as I have been able to do so. --

Please forward me five dollars as the fee for making & recording papers & oblige

Dear Sir,

I am directed by the Com^ee on Lots to inform you that they will recommend the Trustees to guarantee the perpetual repair of your own lot no 3000 -- on payment of four hundred dollars: -- and of lot belonging to the heirs of Jas. O. Ward, no. 1502, on payment of four hundred and fifty dollars.

Dear Sir,

I have examined the report of lots sold in the hand of Mr Bond, and find you have never reported the lot on Saffron P. to Jos. P. Williams. The "dupli- cate" report which you find among your papers does not correspond with Mr Bond's --

It appears that you first reported lot 3554 on Saffron P. (not the same no. of feet however) to W^m Lowry, & in the next report changed Lowry to Primrose & gave him a new no. ^⁽³⁵⁵⁹⁾ The old number is the one which you appear to have ^^given J.P.W. -- 3554 --

Please add it to Mr B's reports --

Will you bring in a report upon the lot of John C. Tebbetts, 731 Moss P.

Please give Mr Safford the enclosed.

Dear Sir,

I enclose you the contract for lot 1502. When you have signed it -- paid the money top Geo. W^m Bond Treas^r -- 167 Congress, and obtained his signature to the paper, return it to me, and I will have it completed and recorded for you. The next meeting of the Trustees occurs next Monday, and if the paper shall have been returned me before then, I will get the assent of the Board. --

I had hoped you might bring the other matters into the this year's operations.

Dear Sir,

I omitted yesterday to state that at Mr J.C. Merrill's request for a number with four figures to be given him, for the lot of Mr Ward his brother in law, I gave him 3376. This number was on a little lot which was sold to Hannah A. Morse, in rear of 888 Poplar Av., and transferred back to the Corpⁿ before she died. So, if you have put a stake there to indicate ^^{a lot for sale by that no.} please have it changed to the east half of J.C. Merrill's on Snowdrop Path.

That lot will be then - S.E. half Hen. V. Ward 3376 - N.W. J.C.M. 3487.

Geo. W. Livermore Esq. of Camb. called in again today, & as he is anxious to settle his bill with the Corpⁿ wishes you would correct the report of lots 3509, 3510, -- M.H. Livermore & P.F. Folsom, on Clematis Path, so that they will stand 300 feet each (if that is what they contain, as appears from the book of Shedd's plan) instead of 326 ft. as before: and instruct the Treas^r to give them a credit of $65 on the bill. I promised him you would bring it in on Saturday.

Mr W^m C. Murdock wishes you to bring in the bill on the Vose lot next Saturday, and would like to meet you here at 12 o'clock. If you can fix the report to include the cap on the monument, he will pay in the fund so as to be included in this year's rep^t. He p^d $450 on the Ward lot today.
