Wm Nichols Esq.

Dear Sir

Your letter of recd. I have given direction to have the lot in readiness for you on Saturday, and hope you may find everything to your satisfaction.

The no. of the lot is 4266. Nothing more will be needed except for you to have the necessary papers from either the Secy or Treasr (16 Pemberton Sq) showing you have become the proprietor of the lot.

Respectfully J.W. Lovering Supt

Alpheus Hardy Esq.

Dear Sir

I estimate cost of cleaning & pointing stone, and painting the iron door of the Tremont House Tomb at from $75 to $100.

The stone has been left so long that it will be a difficult matter to clean it, tho I am confident that the appearance can be much improved.

Hoping you will feel inclined to have the work done this summer.

I am very respectfully James W. Lovering Supt.
