DAVID H. GILE, Esq., #1837 INDIANA AVE., CHICAGO

Dear Sir:-

Your letter of 10th has been forwarded me by our Treasurer. Lot #2620 on Orchis pah is triangular in shape, and contains 150 sq. feet. The two interments now there were made before we kept the exact locations of the bodies, so that without digging down it is impossible to tell how much space is left. From the appearance of the surface there may be room for two more graves, but the surface indications are not always reliable.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

MRS. M. A. BREWER, #219 Cottage St., Dorchester.

Dear Madam:-

Your note is received. Two catacombs for future use if built side by side would cost $40.00, if one is built over the other the lower one would have 8 inch walls and the cost would be $45.00. I suppose the Turpin lot #3125 is the one you refer to.

Respectfully yours, Supt.

R. A. Ballou, Esq., #3 Studio Building, Boston.

Dear Sir: -

The drawing you send me does not agree with the locations of the graves on the lot, and to prevent any mistake I think it would be well for you to come out and show Mr. McArthur on the lot where the foundations are to go. It is so long since you talked with him on this subject that it has passed from his mind.

Respectully yours, Supt.

Mrs. L. A. J. Alexander, Dorchester .

Dear Madam: -

I have an order to build a foundation in your lot as soon as the size is sent. If the monument will be finished this y year the size should be sent at once, as the season for that kind of work will soon come to an end.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

O. H. Hayes, Esq., New York.

Dear Sir: -

I carried your note to the secretary's office and found that not knowing you were executor he doubted his right to issue the permit to cut inscription. The permit has now been issued, and the stonecutter is at work on the monument.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
