Garden Avenue - Change of location submitted to Trustees by Comee on Grounds _

had agreed to submit the question of changing the location of Garden Avenue & removing a line of trees upon the same, which was authorized by the last board of Trustees in December last, to this whole board. _

also Removal of trees _

Upon which it was moved by Mr. Nazro, "That it is inexpedient to change the location of Garden Avenue, or to remove the trees on the left of said Avenue." _

Mr Curtis moved to amend by substi- tuting the following: _

Change of location & removal of trees authorized _

"That it is expedient to change the location of Garden Avenue, and to remove two rows of trees on the Northerly side of the same." _

After some discussion the amendment was adopted by seven yeas to five nays. __ And the motion as amended was then adopted by the same vote. _

Comee to purchase land westerly of Cemetery _

Voted,, That Messrs Nazro and Bangs be a Committee with authority to purchase a strip of land next Westerly of our Cemetery, and between Mount Auburn Street on the front & the Catholic Cemetery in the rear. _

Lot 870 Representative of same designated _

In accordance with the petition of the heirs at law of Eliphalet P. Hartshorn, late proprietor of lot numbered 870 in the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, Henry B. Stanwood was designated to represent said lot, & vote at meetings of the Corporation, until the further order of
