Dear Sir,

The order of 10^th April 1863 for interment of a child in Mt Auburn, signed by you, gives me the means & for the first time of writing you to correct ^^{the record of} an interment of child made May 28, 1860 in same lot. As the record was deficient in two particulars, and as the child's body appears to have come from Newark N.J. I have concluded it ^^too must have been your child, to a sufficient extent to ask these two questions - 1^st if it was your child, and the name (if any): 2^d the date of its stillbirth. I believe it is the only deficiency in our record for that year, and I did not have your address, or I should have corrected it.

Your request has been attended to, and I am instructed by the Committee on Lots to notify you that this Corporation will contract to keep said lot (no. 126, Willow Av^e) in perpetual repair for the sum of $300 three hundred dollars, provided it is first put in complete order.
