Mr. H.B. Mackintosh Treas.r

Dear Sir

The heirs of Tho.s Marshall have today decided to take lot 4433 on Clethra Pa. the Certificate of which is in their possession. This lot was sold them and then afterward the sale was thrown up, they intending to take half of Lot 2836, but another change of mind has left them with a wish to pay for 4433 so you may expect a call from them for that purpose.

Respectfully F.C. Childs for Sup.t

H.H. Brown Esq 4 Commonwealth A.

Dear Sir

No order has been received for the care of lot 787 Cypress Ave for 1876.

This I presume is due to an oversight in blank for such direction as you may deem proper.

I have directed that the sod - about the mont. be repaired and that the graves be changed as per your verbal directions. I have added this to the order as I am under instructions from the Trustees to do no work for Proprietors, or others without written directions, in order to prevent misunderstanding.

Very Respectfully J.W. Lovering Sup.t per Childs.

Mrs H.G. Parker

Dear Madam

In regard to the trees on either side of your lot #787 (heirs Wm Brown) the Trustees consent to the removal of the oak tree on the right hand side, provided the grading of the lot on the rear toward Hibiscus path & Cypress Ave is modified which they consider would much improve the appearance, and the expense of which would not be very great.

The oak tree is probably the source of nearly all of the discoloration to the marble, and if you complete the contract for the perpetual care of the lot an estimate for which has first been sent, there need be no difficulty about having the marble kept clean and I think in a condition which would be satisfactory to you.

Ys very truly J.W. Lovering Supt.
