Lot 202. New Deed of.

The Secretary read a letter from the ^attorney of the widow of the late John Farrar, Mrs. Eliza Farrar, from which it appeared that she was by his will the devisee of lot number 202. in the Cemetery, but the deed of the same from the Horticultural Society to said Farrar, found among his papers, has no seal upon it. The record however states that it was sold. It was Voted. That a new deed of said lot to Mrs Eliza Farrar be issued by this Corporation.

The Treasurer's report was submitted to the meeting, and ordered to be presented at the annual meeting to the Proprietors.

Treasurer authorized to sell stocks.

Voted. That the Treasurer, under the advice of the finance committee, be authorized to sell stocks sufficient to meet the liabilities of this Corporation.

Stated Meetings of Trustees.

Voted. That the first meeting of the new board of trustees be holden on and the same hour of the first Monday of each month, be the time for the monthly meetings. Adjourned. Attest. H. M. Parker. Secretary.

Mount Auburn Cemetery.

The Annual Meeting of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, will be held at the office of the subscriber in Boston at no. 46 Washington Street on to choose Trustees for the ensuing year, to hear the report of the Treasurer and to act on any other business which may legally come before the meeting. Henry M. Parker. Secretary. Boston January 1854

As the draft passed by the Legislature, while substantially the act approved by the Proprietors, continued slight verbal alterations, it was.

Voted. That the same should be again entered upon the record.

Drainage of low land near Locust Ave

A petition signed by Wm R Ware. Proprietor of Lot 202. Wm H. Montague of lot 300, and for F H Peterson proprietor of lot 747, all situated upon Locust Avenue, that this Board would cause a drain to be opened to carry off the surplus water from their lots, was referred to the Committee on Lots.

Wyeth Estate _ improvement of _

The subject of improving the Wyeth Estate, was discussed, with the understanding that the Committee on Grounds would report upon the same as soon as possible.

Perp. Repair of Lot 1341 _

The following contracts made by the Committee on Lots for perpetual repair were ratified by this Board With the heirs of Benjn Humphrey for perpetual care of Lot numbered 1341 for eight hundred and fifty dollars.

Lot 3655 _

With Leavitt Gardner for perpetual care of lot numbered thirty six hundred and fifty five for four hundred dollars.
