He also exhibited to me the certificates of stocks belonging to the Corporation according to the Trial Balance of his books.

It will be seen by the accompanying Trial Balance (p.189) that the corporation had on hand & invested on the 31^st of Dec^rember last $44.897.08 besides which they have in charge invested for fund for repairs 1500, for Story Statue fund 4500 of the above funds belonging to the Corporation there will be required to pay for improvments in progress & nearly completed about $14000, which will leave your investment about $30,000.
