Dear Sir

There are a number of Signs very much wanted in Mount Auburn, partly on new grounds not yet fully occupied, and partly on old grounds where they have been overlooked -

For the newer parts, I would suggest the cast-iron signs; for the older parts, wooden ones, of which we have a quantity on hand - The last iron ones were bought in ,^ at a cost of about I think $4.00 each.

I have understood from Mr. O. Bramhall of Boston, that he had the patterns from which those purchased were cast; (that however was before the great fire, when his shop in Congress St was burnt).

We have at the Carpenters shop about [blank space] wooden
