Dear Sir
Mr Rodk Richardson has written me in regard to a foundation which he stated was wrongly built, and I replied that it was built as ordered. He then wrote me that he signed the order in blank^at your office and that he did not put on the diagram showing where the foundation was to be built, & requested me to setle with you, as the mistake was between us.
I built the foundation exactly where they were ordered and if they are wrong I am ready to move them when I am paid for it.
It will cost $3.00 to move the foundation and I will have this done whenever you send me an order to do it at your Expense.
Yrs truly J.W. Lovering Supt.

Dear Sir
Yours of the 26th rec'd. When your order was rec'd by me, it had on the back the diagram which I copied on to the blank sent you, and if you did not put it there, it must have been done by Mr McDonald or his assistants I have notified him I was ready to move the foundation at his expense.
I am ready, always to promptly correct all my sure mistakes, but I think you should not hold me responsible for his. (over)
Yrs very truly J.W. Lovering Supt
Your postal to me some weeks ago only states that you proposed to have Mr McDonald erect some headstone (you do not say where or at whose graves) and repair the monument.
