Dear Madam
When you gave order for the care of lot #2318 you at the same time ordered the myrtle to be repaired.
The gardener has examined the myrtle and reports that the myrtle now there has been set into the sod without any preperation whatever, and dig up the ground put down the proper quantity of loam and manure should cost $ 2100/100.
Very respectfully James W Lovering Supt. pr J.C.S.

Dear Madam
Your letter is received. The usual charge for a myrtle grave is $7 the work and care being $3 and the myrtle $4. You ordered 3 myrtle graves and the gardener reported that you had myrtle for half a grave. You were therfore credited with $2, the charge on the bill being $19 instead of $21, the price of 3 full graves. These are the lowest prices at which the work can be done.
Very respectfully James W Lovering pr J.C.S. Supt
