Discrepant Lots ref. to Com. on Lots

Voted, – that the papers relating to "Discrepant Lots" which were placed on file by vote of the Board at the last meeting be taken from the file and referred to the Committee on Lots.

Monthly schedule of Bills referred to President.

A file of bills with accompanying schedule having been submitted to the Board by the Treasurer, in compliance with the By=Laws, and the schedule having been read by the Secretary, it was

Voted, – that said bills be referred to the President for his approval, and payment by the Treasurer, if found correct.

The following communications were read and disposed of as follows, viz: –

Communcations from Revd S. L. Holman,

(a) Communication from Revd S. L. Holman of Woonsocket, R.I., dated , regarding an alleged infringement of burial nights purchased by his father Revd J. W. Holman in St John's Public Lot.

Mr Chas. Bradlee,

(b) Communication from Mr Charles Bradley dated , respecting the solicitations of Messrs. Redway and Hatch addressed to visitors at the Cemetery to purchase a wash for cleansing marble

Supt. & others, respecting Lots reported sold wh. are not paid; & Letter of J. F. Dodge, referred to Com. on Lots.

(c) Communication from the late Superintendent dated , in reply to enquiries of the Secretary, together with a report of the Secretary with reference to certain Lots reported sold which have not been paid for. Also a communication from the late Superintendent with regard to one of the aforesaid Lots (No 4010) reported sold to Mr Joseph F. Dodge

Voted, – that the papers aforesaid be referred to the Committee on Lots: the case of Revd Mr Holman with full powers.

Redway & Hatch Marble wash. Report of Com. on Lots

A report was also received form the same committee to whom, at the meeting of , was referred the communication of Mr Chas. Bradley relative to the solicitations addressed to visitors at the Cemetery by Messrs. Redway & Hatch to purchase a wash for cleansing marble; – stating that the parties named having left the Cemetery precincts, no action was required in the premises. And it was

Voted, – that the report be accepted.

Statement of Lots sold & not paid for: Subject referred to next Bd of Trustees

A report was also received from the same Committee to whom at the same meeting was referred a statement of Lots reported sold not yet paid for, representing that the said papers having failed to come before the Committee, and the Secretary having in the meantime prepared statements covering the interval to the close of the year 1873, it was

Voted, – that the Committee be discharged from the further consideration of the subject and that the same be referred to the next Board of Trustees.

Report of Com. on Birds.

A written report was received from Dr. Brewer, in behalf of the Special Committee on Birds giving list of the waterfowl, etc., belonging to the corporation, with statements of their condition characteristics &c.

Voted, – that the report of the Committee on Birds be accepted and placed on file.

A communication from the Superintendent dated , addressed to the chairman
