Monthly Schedule of Bills referred to President

A file of bills with accompanying schedule having been submitted to the Board by the Treasurer in compliance with the requirements of the new By=Laws, on motion of Mr Turner

Voted, – that said bills be referred to the President for his approval, and payment if found correct.

Comns relating to Com. on Birds,

The following named communications were laid before the Board: (a) From Dr. Brewer requesting the re=appointment of the Special Committee on Birds, &c.

New Stockade Fence,

(b) From the Superintendent in reference to the cost of the new stockade fence proposed to be erected on the West and South Sides of the Watriss Lot, with detailed estimates.

Halcyon Lake Excavations, –

(c) From the Superintendent in regard to the progress of the excavations, etc., at Halcyon Lake.

[The last named communication was supplemented by personal explanations made by the Superintendent at the invitation of the Board ^&, with plans and drawings showing the method progress and condition of the work.]

In the absence of the President, and in default of any Standing Committees to which the above named communications could be referred, it was

laid upon the Table

Voted, – that the several communications above named be laid upon the table.

Contracts for Perp. Rep. with G. of Lots Nos 101 & 2247

The Secretary having stated that the Committee on Lots had recommended the Trustees to guaranty the perpetual repair of Lot No 101 on Central Avenue, belonging to Francis B. Winter for Four hundred and fifty dollars, – and of Lot No 2247 on

Honeysuckle Path, late of Levi H. Marsh, deceased, for the same sum, it was

Voted, – that the above mentioned contracts be concurred in on the part of this Board.

Upon the petitions of the parties in interest representatives were designed for Lots as follows; viz; –

643 Edmund F. Bradlee, of Boston ^17 Ashburton Place, son of Rebecca B. Bradlee deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Six hundred and forty=three.

1202 Harleston Parker, of Boston, ^5 Pemberton Sq. (Room 24) son of Peter Parker deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twelve hundred and two.

2247 James F. Stevens of Salem, ^45 Kilby St Boston son=in=law of Levi H. Marsh deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twenty=two=hundred and forty=seven.

Adjourned to the , at 3=30 P.M.
