Hotel Comfort, Boston.

Dear Sir: -

The fence on your lot is in a rusty and unsightly condition, and the lot and its surroundings would be improved by removing it. Will you authorize me to do this, recut the posts at the corners, remove the other posts and sod over the post holes and cut the number of the lot, without expense to you except the old material.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Dear Sir:-

Your note of 18th is received. It would be well to have the lot put in better order than now. If nothing else is done the fence should be removed, the corner posts recut and the number of the lot cut on one of them, the other posts removed and the post holes filled up, this could be done without expense to you except the old material.

To put the lot in good order as it should be I would advise removing the fence as above, lowering the grade of the lot about two feet, lowering and cleaning the monument, this would cost $50.00 and the old material.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
