#3757-S

A. E. Viles, Esq., Boston.

Dear Sir: -

The grade as proposed for the Simonds lot #3757 would not admit of front steps. The rear would be kept substantially as now and the grade rise to the front (East) two inches per foot, and from left to right (South to North) would fall three fourths of an inch per foot. As you will notice there is considerable fall from front to rear which would be bad for a monument of any great width and as the lot is only about 16 feet long a narrow monument would give more graves.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
