Henry Murray Esq. Boston

Dear Sir

In regard to foundation for bowlder at grave of Isaiah Hanscom. If it is a natural field bowlder of which any side is the top I don't think a foundation needed. But if it is a carved marble one that would be hurt if the earth eased and it fell or of which it is desired to keep any part plumb then I think a found-ation would be needed. Please inform me as to the character of the stone and I will decide.

Very respectfully James W Lovering pr J.C.S. Supt
