Lewis Jones and Son Dear Sirs:

The stone for the Eastburn Lot 1898 has been delivered and I find on looking at it that several small pieces have been chipped from the base. My men did not unload it. The money to be paid to the person delivering it has not yet been called for and I thought under the circumstances you might not wish it to be paid.

Yours Resp'y J. W. Lovering Sup't. per F. A. B.

Miss M. .E.Morrill, Philadelphia.

Dear Madam:-

Your note is received. There is a brick vault already built for Mrs. Danforth adjoining that of her husband. It was prepared under direction of Mrs. S. B. Jacobs #24 Bulfinch St., Boston, and its size is 7 ft. x 2 ft. 2 in. We will open it on receipt of your telegram.

We do not have a hearse or facilities for going outside the cemetery to receive remains. B. F. Smith #251 Tremont St., Boston or L. Jones & Son, #50 LaGrange St., Boston are both reliable undertakers, and there quite a number of others any one of whom will respond to a telegraphic order to meet you.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Honorable [?Henry?] H. [?Gil????],

Dear Sir Your note of yesterday in regards to fast driving from the Cemetery is received and will have careful attention.

From the particulars which you have given me, I have been able to ascertain the person at fault, and shall take such steps as will, I trust prevent any such accident in the future. Yours truly J. W. Lovering Superintendant

Messrs. Lewis Jones & Son

Dear Sirs, Complaint has been made by the City of Cambridge that on last Sunday afternoon a hearse was driven so rapidly through the front gate, by one of your drivers, that only with great difficulty was a collision avoided with a vehicle passing.

I trust it will be only necessary to call your attention to the matter, and to the rules of the Cemetery which forbid fast driving within it, to prevent any thing of the kind in the future. Yours truly, J. W. Lovering Superintendant
