Dear Sir,
In reply to your inquiry I am able to state that the Stone gateway, Iron fence, Chapel and Tower at Mount Auburn were all designed by Dr. Jacob Bigelow of this City (now President of Corporation) and that all the drawings required therefor, were drawn by me, at my office from sketches, models and explanations furnished by him.
