S.T. Snow Esq Chairman Comm. on Lots.

Dear Sir

I find the following lots wrongly numbered.

Lot 2366 Buy. Beal numbered on Iron gate #2368
" 218 Mandell [numbered on] curb #1668
" 2178 Bennet [numbered on curb] 2179
2179 [Bennet] [numbered on curb] 2178
*3428 Thayer [numbered on curb] 3429
3429 Hovey [numbered on curb] 3428
6687 Cole Rice [numbered on] base of monument 667.
*Mr Thayer's deed is #3428; the lot he has used & which is marked with his name is #3429 on ground, and sectional plans.

The numbers on these curb lots are "raised in panel"; the raised figures can be cut down, and the same figures sunk in the panel.

Very respectfuly J.W. Lovering

Asphaltum Paths Report "inexpedient".

A report was received from the Committee on Grounds to whom was referred the subject of using asphaltum on the paths at the Cemetery, stating that they were of the opinion that it could be used on many of the paths without any detriment to the trees or shrubbery; but that to introduce it so as to make a saving in the gravel and repair would require a larger outlay than the funds of the Corporation will warrant; and that they were of the opinion that it is best not to take any action at present.

Voted, – that the above report be accepted.
