Proprietors. .

On motion of Mr Collamore, it was

Voted, – that a Committee of three be appointed by the chair to receive, count and sort the votes for Trustees.

Com. appd to collect count and sort Votes for Trustees.

The chair appointed Messrs. John Collamore, John R. Poor and Alex Wadsworth to compose said Committee, who subsequently reported as follows, viz: –

Trustees elected

Whole number of Ballots case 84; – all of which were for the following named persons, viz: –

___ Edward Lawrence, } To serve until 1878,
___ Charles F. Choate, } By re=election.
___ Henry W. Pickering, To serve until 1877, in place of E. S. Rand, resigned.
Lack of Office accomdns at Cemetery

Col. Charles Amory called the attention of the Trustees to the great lack of suitable office accommodations at the Cemetery for the Superintendent and those employed by him, and suggested a method by which this deficiency could be easily and cheaply supplied. In reply, the Proprietors were assured by the President that the subject had already been considred by the Trustees, and would continue to receive their attention.

No other business being presented, – on motion of Mr Collamore, it was

Voted, – that this Meeting be dissolved,

Trustees

A monthly Meeting of the Trustees was held on Wednesday, , at half past Three o'clock P. M.

Present, Messrs. Bigelow, N. J. Bradlee, Choate, Lawrence, Livermore, Perkins, Pickering, Snow and Turner. In the absence of the President Mr Livermore was called to the chair. The record of the last meeting of the Trustees was read and approved.

This being the first meeting of the Trustees since the Annual Proprietor's Meeting, the business first in order was the choice of officers for the ensuing year. The Board accordingly proceeded to ballot therefor with the following result, as announced by Mr Turner who was designated by the chairman a Committee to collect, sort and count the votes.

Election of President

Whole number of ballots cast for President, 9; All of which were for John T. Bradlee, and he was accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.

Secretary

Whole number of ballots case for Secretary 9; All of which were for Samuel Batchelder Jr., and he was accordingly declared elected to the said office.

Treasurer

Whole number of ballots cast for Treasurer, 9; All of which were for H. B. Mackintosh and he was accordingly declared elected to that office

& Superintendent

Whole number of ballots cast for Superintendent, 9; All of which were for Charles W. Folsom, and he was accordingly declared elected to the aforesaid office.

Action on Salaries deferred.

On motion of Mr Snow, it was Voted, – that all action in relation to salaries be

Honeysuckle Path, late of Levi H. Marsh, deceased, for the same sum, it was

Voted, – that the above mentioned contracts be concurred in on the part of this Board.

Upon the petitions of the parties in interest representatives were designed for Lots as follows; viz; –

643 Edmund F. Bradlee, of Boston ^17 Ashburton Place, son of Rebecca B. Bradlee deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Six hundred and forty=three.

1202 Harleston Parker, of Boston, ^5 Pemberton Sq. (Room 24) son of Peter Parker deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twelve hundred and two.

2247 James F. Stevens of Salem, ^45 Kilby St Boston son=in=law of Levi H. Marsh deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Twenty=two=hundred and forty=seven.

Adjourned to the , at 3=30 P.M.
