Dear Sir
The cost of building the foundation for the Mont 6' - 5in x 5' - 2 in 10 ft deep as necessary in lot 3819 will be from $60.00 to $65.00
The lot is 20 ft wide and deducting the width of Mont, there will be left 6 ft 1/2 in on each side of foundation or 2 ft 3in for each interment which will probably be sufficient, if no room be wasted.
This is rather closer figuring than is absolutely safe and of course would not allow of brick catacombs being built

Dear Sir
I have not received any order from you for care of lot 3819 Yew Av. but should be glad to have you give me such orders as may suit your wishes and will execute them in a satisfactory manner. Outside persons are I believe seeking to do work but it seems to me to be desirable that all work should be entrusted to the Corpn so long as the results are satisfactory, as to quality of work and amount charged. Therefor

Dear Sir
Your favor of Apr 8th is received. I think that I understand your diagram fully, as to the distance on the back & front of the monument. I find the steps are not exactly in the center of the lot, but it seemed to me that the monument should be exactly opposite to them, which will leave a little more room on one side than the other.
If tomorrow is pleasant, the foundation will be finished during the day.
Yours truly J.W. Lovering Supt.

Dear Sir
Your note is received. It will cost $2. to clean your monument. I know of no cause for its stain other than the tree sap and weather stains all monuments are liable to.
