Voted, that while the Secretary is confined at the polls, Mr Geo. W. Bond be Secretary pro tem. _
On motion of Mr Phillips
Voted that the polls be closed at ¼ before 6 by the clock in the Hall. _
Temporary Adjournt
Mr Brigham, Chairman of the Committee stated that some two hours must necessarily elapse before the counting of the votes could be completed; _ and on motion of Mr F. Plummer, Voted that this meeting stand adjourned to this place at 8 O'clock to hear the report of the Committee &c. _
The meeting reassembled at 8 O'clock, the President in the Chair. _
Adjournt to next day -
Mr Brigham of the Committee stated ^that a considerable further time would be requisite to enable the Committee to announce the result of the ballotting. _ Accordingly upon motion of Mr Chapman,
