Dear Madam: -
Your note to our Treasurer has been handed to me for answer in regard to plants. The plants ordered by you were set out at the proper time, and were on the lot when you called here. They did not do well and will never do well set in the same beds with the shrubs. If plants are desired I would suggest that the shrubs now in the front of the lot be removed, and beds for plants made there. If shrubs are wanted smaller ones might be set inside the front corners of the lot.
Please inform me before Spring what you desire to have done.
Respectfully yours,
Supt.
Miss. A. O. Leonard, Sandwich Mass.
