Mrs. H.M.H. Currier, Jamaica Plain.

Dear Madam:-

In regard to the enclosed bill, you will remember that in my conversation with you last Summer I said that the myrtle removed from your lot was old and not such as I cared to buy. I have since consulted with the gardener, and find that it is without any any value to us.

The charge for the work was clearly agreed upon. In one case it was to be $37.00 and the old myrtle, in the other $3.00 the myrtle to be at your disposal if called for in the Fall. The myrtle is at your disposal now, but we cannot agree to keep it beyond May 1st, as our room is very limited.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
