G. R. Chapman Esq. 28 State St. Boston

Dear Sir,

Your favor is rec'd, in reply would say that charges of care of Lots and Trees belonging to Mr. Charles Amory, do not include Top-dressing.

Please therefore sign and return to us the enclosed card and we will see the work performed to your entire satisfaction

Respectfully James W. Lovering Supt. J.E.C.

John F. Pray Esq. 40 Blossom St. Boston

Dear Sir,

Your favor is rec'd. Annual Care has never included Top Dressing of the Lots, but is a separate charge entirely as the amount charged for Top Dressing does not more than cover the expense of Labor and Material, and is intended only to improve the Lots and not as a source of profit to the Corporation.

Respectfully James W. Lovering Supt J.E.C.
