Dear Sir,

Enclosed please find Mr. Grigg's letter of , offering slate grave covers.

In regard to this matter, I would say, I think there is a sufficient supply at the Cemetery to last through the season of [18]73, or nearly so.

Please let me know the price of the stone before you send any more. I have no objection to receiving the stone at the price named in my letter of 16th inst. viz., $2.00 per Ton deld. at Cemetery, but do not wish to pay more for it, your early reply will oblige

I want 25 Slate head Stones for Public Lot such as are now on St. Paul's Lot, numbered from 129 up 18 inches long = 5 inches wide = 1 inch thick If you can furnish as well and as low as elsewhere will give you the order. Please let me know the price

Dear Sir

I have your valued favor of and would say in regard to the price of a lot near the chapel, that we have but one piece on any of our lots offerred for sale.

I think $256 is no more than the land is worth and a lot near the Chapel has recently been sold for $325

I have several engagements on Saturday which will prevent my calling on you. I shall be at 16 Pemberton Sq between 12 & 2 o clock or shall be happy to see you here
